Lucas Torreira may have taken one more step towards achieving a permanent move from Arsenal, with reports that Monaco have offered the midfielder a three-year deal.
Torreira’s future has been a talking point throughout the window. He has been a peripheral figure since moving to Atletico Madrid on loan in the summer.
The 24-year-old has started just two league games for Diego Simeone’s side. Interestingly, Marca reported earlier this month that Torreira was set to stay in the Spanish capital beyond this window.

However, a report from Italy has suggested that he is leaving Atletico. And it appears that he could be on his way to Monaco.
According to reports, the Ligue 1 side have made contact with both Arsenal and Torreira. And they have apparently offered the Uruguayan a three-year deal.
It is suggested that the offer appeals to both the Gunners and the £26 million midfielder (fee reported by BBC Sport).
