Finally Osimhen Defeats Covid-19; Tests Negative

Napoli have officially reported that Victor Osimhen has been tested negative for the coronavirus and should resume training Saturday.

The Italian side said the Nigerian attacker received a negative result from the latest swab test and Sky Sport Italia reported the Nigerian, who had been out with a shoulder injury since the international duty, will start to train tomorrow.

The former LOSC Lille attacker has been out since he suffered a shoulder injury when Nigeria played Sierra Leone and has not played for the Partenopei since he scored the winner against Bologna on November 8, 2020.

He tested positive for COVID-19 upon his return from Christmas holiday and has now tested negative and can return to train.
