The former Queens Park Rangers FC star was given another starting role in the attacking midfield by coach Roy Hodgson, and he was able to impress, as he put on an excellent performance against the Gunners for the whole duration.
The Super Eagles’ prospect was outstanding for the Eagles and his excellent freekick would have given the away team the lead in the first half, but James Tomkins header hit the woodwork, as the first half ended in a draw.
Both teams also tried to score goals in the second half of the game, but all their efforts were saved by outstanding goalkeepers, as the match ended in no victor no vanquished.
Speaking to the newsmen after the game, Eberechi Eze told Skysports that Crystal Palace worked hard to defeat the Gunners, but all their efforts were not successful, and he’s very excited to help his team to claimed the deserved one point against Mikel Arteta led team away from home.
